BERGAMOT CREAM LIQUEUR: HOW TO PREPARE IT

Bergamot cream liqueur is a good digestive, but also an excellent ingredient in the preparation of desserts, cakes, granitas or to perfume sponge cake.

Ingredients:
- filtered juice of 2 untreated bergamots (better if organic )
- 700 gr. of whole milk
- 350 gr. of sugar
- 250 gr. of pure alcohol at 90°

Preparation
Heat the milk in a saucepan and add, stirring, the bergamot juice and sugar. Leave on the heat for 20 minutes.
Let it cool and add the alcohol. Bottle and serve the liquor chilled.
Store in freezer.


BERGAMOT LIQUEUR: INGREDIENTS AND PREPARATION

For those who love stronger and more decisive flavors, bergamot liqueur is a good digestive, useful after meals and as an after-dinner drink. The recipe requires few ingredients but, as with all other liqueurs, the preparation times are quite long. Let's see how to prepare it!


Ingredients:
- 8 untreated bergamots (better if organic)
- 1 litre of 90° alcohol
- 500 gr. of sugar
- ½ litre of water

Preparation
Wash the bergamots, dry them and peel them, avoiding the white part. Put the peels in a jar and leave to macerate in alcohol for 20 days.
After 20 days, prepare the syrup by dissolving the sugar in half a litre of water.
Remove the peels from the alcohol and pour it over the syrup.
Allow to cool and bottle. Store in the refrigerator and consume after about 30 days.
