AVOCADO: HOW TO EAT IT
Thanks to its many beneficial properties, avocado is slowly entering Italian cuisine, forming the basis of numerous recipes: from salad to toast, through smoothies, sauces and first courses. The only thing you need to be careful about is consuming avocado when it is ripe : to find out, just press lightly and, if the fruit is not too hard, it means it is ready to be eaten. AVOCADO: WHEN IS IT RIPE?
As we have already mentioned, avocados should be eaten when they are ripe . If they are quite soft to the touch, then they are ready; otherwise, to make them ripen quickly, simply leave them out of the refrigerator for a few days. The color is also a good indicator: if the skin is dark green, then the avocado is not ready to be eaten yet. However, remember that this does not apply to Hass avocados, which are dark green even when ripe.

Now let's move on to the next step: the avocado is ripe and ready for all the recipes you intend to make. But how do you peel an avocado? To make the operation easier, just roll the avocado on a surface for about 30 seconds: in this way the pulp, after a small incision, will come off the peel very easily.
HOW TO SEASON AVOCADO
If you intend to consume the avocado as is, just split it in half, remove the stone and season it with salt, lemon, oil and, if you like, a sprinkling of paprika. Also, since the pulp is quite soft, it is possible to reduce it to a cream and spread it on croutons, bruschetta and toast.
