Why use Locroi?
100% organic fruit. Cultivation follows the organic method in open fields. Even after harvesting, our citrus fruits are not treated with substances that prevent the formation of mold or give the fruit a more sparkling and shiny appearance. You can safely use the peel to prepare desserts or liqueurs!

All working relationships are regularized (from the work in the fields to the harvest), we respect not only the environment but also the people we involve.

Where is your fruit grown?
Our citrus fruits are grown in the archaeological area of ​​Locri (RC), where the ancient Greeks from Locride chose to found their colony right here over 2000 years ago thanks to the fertility of this land.
These citrus fruits have belonged to our family for several generations, who have always grown them with passion and following traditional cultivation methods, without the use of chemical or harmful substances.

What does it mean that your fruit is organic?
Our crops are controlled by a certification body that issues an organic production certificate (ours is no. M138/3 that you can request by email at info@locroi.com). In organic farming, no synthetic chemical substances are used (fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, pesticides in general).

What is the difference between Natural and Organic?
The term "Natural" is often used indiscriminately: unlike Organic, no organization certifies that no synthetic chemical substances are used (fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, pesticides in general) and the actual absence of chemical residues on the fruit.

When is the fruit harvested?
It is picked directly from the tree the same day it is shipped. Only 48 hours will pass from the moment it is picked to when it arrives at your home.

How should I store the fruit I receive?
Citrus fruits : despite the absence of preservatives and anti-mold, they last up to a month thanks to their freshness.
Just keep them in the fridge, on an outdoor balcony or in a cool cellar.

Avocados : if kept in a cool environment they ripen very slowly. To make them ripen quickly it is advisable to keep them in a paper bag.

How much does your fruit cost?
Despite having a high quality, thanks to the short supply chain (from producer to consumer) our fruit has a price accessible to everyone.

Consider that it will never have particularly low prices, precisely because it is grown with the organic method in full respect of nature: this involves a lower production yield and higher production costs compared to other cultivation methods. Furthermore, all work relationships are regularized.

We care that food in general is bought for its quality and based on the way it is produced, therefore respectful of the territory, the environment and people, therefore not only for the lowest price.

Why do you only ship on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday?
To guarantee maximum freshness, we want the fruit to be delivered in the same week in which it was harvested. We therefore avoid storage in our courier's warehouses during Saturdays and Sundays or on public holidays.

How much does home delivery cost?
Express courier delivery is free throughout Italy.

Do you ship internationally?

What are the home delivery times?
Once shipped, the fruit is delivered by express courier within 48 hours (except for any delays attributable to the courier).

What happens if the courier doesn't find me at home?
A second attempt will be made the next day. If the courier does not find anyone on the second attempt, he will return the package to us. No refund is foreseen in this case since the failed delivery is not our fault (we cannot resell the same fruit in addition to having paid for the collection, packaging and shipping costs).

Can I order via Whatsapp?
Yes, send a message to 392.2012933 indicating the type of box you want. You can pay by credit card through Paypal (even without being registered) or by bank transfer.

How does payment work?
You can pay with:

- credit card , also rechargeable (Postepay, etc.), through PayPal. Payment is fast and safe and without commissions.

- bank transfer , upon confirmation of purchase you will receive the bank details. The shipment will be made once the payment has been received.

Is it possible to buy cash on delivery?
Not at the moment, but consider that it is a method that involves an additional cost of 6 euros, while Paypal is free, immediate and safe.
